Hoover Floormate Deluxe
A fine automobile indeed. I have been using this unit for a few years at present on my tile floors and it works great. My floors even have some pretty wide grout gaps but this unit still sucks all of the h2o up. In that location are two things that I think could be improved. #1 is the placement of the on/off switch, information technology is in a bad location but was probably cheaper to put it in that location. #2 are the small clips on the waste material h2o tank, they are unnecessary and I removed them afterward the first time they got in the way when I was putting the tank dorsum in. I have had my machine well-nigh entirely taken apart and it is actually pretty easy to work on. Information technology uses all of the same size screws throughout the machine. After a couple of years of use I had to replace the sucker hose assembly considering it simply bankrupt in half from all of the up and downs of the handle. I besides replaced the detergent valve associates because the seal on the bottom of the piston would pull off of its rib that holds it and the button wouldn't pull the piston high plenty to let a adept amount of detergent menstruation onto the floor. The parts are pretty cheap and all you really need is a Phillips spiral driver to disassemble the entire unit. It's not a job for the feeble minded for certain, you need to pay attending to where stuff is when you take it apart. But overall, information technology's the best unit of its kind that I accept used. I love it.Read full review

The piece of work nifty, while they last. Definitely non designed to terminal several years. Quality going downhill.
This is the 4th Floormate I've owned. Very easy to use and clean up. Does a great task on laminate flooring. I used to use a mop, just information technology would leave too much water on the floor that would seep into the seams of the flooring, causing them to corking. The Floormate leaves very trivial moisture on the floor. It's usually dry within a minute or two. The only affair I've noticed with these machines is that the quality seems to be going downhill the by few years. The first 2 that I owned lasted almost three years each. The 3rd lasted about 15 months, and the last one was shot by x months. The common trouble with them is the suction motor/pump assembly. There is an obvious engineering flaw in that the motors are not waterproof, or always water-resistant as far as I tin can tell. They start to rust, then start squealing, and eventually seize up completely. You would think that something that is designed to pump water would be waterproof. I run into that they have been discontinued. I hope they can come out with a better, more reliable design earlier the 1 I just bought seizes upward.Read total review

Love motorcar while it works This is my 4 th one ..1800square house of tile in sandy Florida and three fur babies...all-time to sweep floor get-go if have fourth dimension but will make clean to a shine.Does non terminal more than a yr..larger container would be nice but they concord a lot now.. Wouldn't use annihilation else to clean tile.!!

My experience with other Hoover products has been all positive and this one continues to print. Very like to a carpet cleaner in functioning, it merely lacks 1 important feature- a rinse wheel. Certain it sprays cleaning solution and scrubs the flooring nicely and has incredible suction leaving the flooring almost dry out when washed, but I was e'er told to make sure not to exit any lather/cleaning solution behind as it will attract dirt, This unit of measurement only has a tank for cleaning solution and some other for the dirty water, At that place is no clean water to rinse with so that is why I'yard only giving this 4 stars. We volition see if non having rinsed the soap from the floor will exist an issue, The good news is its ability to almost completely dry out my wood floor when washed with an area. Leaving h2o on a wood flooring is a no-no. Only the dirty water it removed was articulate evidence that information technology had cleaned my floors and removed every drop. I cleaned my linoleum, ceramic and forest floors with this the other day. Information technology was easy to utilize once I figured out the trigger system. The directions were non very clear or detailed. Now that I accept this, I probably will never utilize a mop again.Read total review

This is the best tile cleaner ever!!! meliorate than steam mops as it brushes deep to clean, Astonishing!!! Would definitely buy once again. Simply a annotation that you may have to get over the floor several times if the grout is really dirty. I bought special cleaner for the grout only and that actually did the fox. The floors take been downward for over 10 years but this heavy duty cleaning has brought them dorsum to new condition. Really like shooting fish in a barrel to utilize and empty. Not disappointed at all.
